What a Mother's Day!

I know that Mother's Day can come with mixed emotions. For those we can not have children, for those who have lost children and for Mother's who wonder do I measure up, I'm I doing a good job.

I had a wonderful morning at church, came home and was showered with gifts. I got to take a long nap and woke up to an amazing dinner. (Thank you Donny and to all my kids) I love you!

Digital Camera Fun

The great thing in having digital cameras these days is how fun and easy they are to use. Donny had to take the back garage door off for something and before he could get it back on the girls took it back, to a corner of yard and started shooting away. The older girls are always playing around with the camera, but what is cute is how closely the little eyes of Lindsay has watched and learned

So little, so much work!

Lindsay was crying in pain, she was complaining of a toothache. We could not calm her down, I know that pain all too well. A call went in to the Dentist early that Monday morning, she was seen, but very scared. The results, she would need two root canals and to be put under.

It came as no surprise that she would have a problem with these two teeth. Mine has been removed and so has Mom's. So there seems to be a problem with them. But it was when see was under they found three move cavities. Okay Lindsay, less treats and better brushing. That was a lot of work for someone so little, but she seems to be doing fine.

She looks so little

This is the best part of going to the Dentist.

Lindsay turns "4"

Lindsay, the princess of our home. Turned 4 on April 20th. She is 4 going on 16, no really. Since most of her "friends" are in High School she thinks she is as big as the rest of them. She is such a joy and blessing to our lives. Love you Lindsay - forever & ever.

This must be a dream....

This year for Christmas we had a secret Santa that did the 12 days of Christmas for our Family. Each night around 9:00pm someone or some elves would knock on the door or ring the door bell and would leave a gift on the door step. With wonderful anticipation we waited each evening to see what they had brought for us. Some gifts we smaller like cans of hot cocoa with candy canes (which we loved) to a night when a gift card was given to each family member. ToyRUs for the youngest three with clothing store cards for older girls, like 5-7-9, Aeropostale and Wetseal. It was fun to go to the Mall, something we really don’t do.

First stop ToyRUs; we let the kids pick something out. Lindsay fell in love with these baby princess dolls, there was Cinderella, Bell & Tinkerbell. She looked at them for a little while and then picked Cinderella.

The next morning she was carrying her doll as she was walking around the house. She had a look of concern on her face, she sighed a really big sigh, so I asked her what was wrong.

Lindsay: “This must be a Dream”

Mom: “Why is that?”

Lindsay:" Because I have this doll."

Lindsay: "Dreams really do come true”

How sweet is that? She is 3.

A new "do" for Lindsay!

.

The damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. But still what is the attraction to the scissors and little girls’ hair? (I know my boys have done it too) There seems to be this power almost uncontrollable. Out of all the things they could choose to cut it’s the hair that gets it. Well, at least the hair does grow back!! Lookin' good Lindsay!

Lindsay - Our Little Princess

Lindsay is growing up so much everyday. She keeps up laughing all the time. She thinks she is as big as everyone else in this family. She wants to go anywhere someone else is going. Kristen actually takes her a lot to run errands, she loves it. She pretty much gets what she wants, how can you refuse such a cute face.
