Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.

I find it concerning that Lady Gaga performed for the Super Bowl half time show last night, millions saw this and are praising her for it. She is into Satanism and the Illuminati, Symbolism of the Occult, Paganism, Demonic Rituals and is part of the ‘New World Order’. (This is not just about her)

Actually for the last few years the performers of the Super Bowl and other large performances have had the same ideals and belief systems. Performers (Celebrities) who want to blur the lines of gender, sexuality, modesty and anything that is sacred.

**ALL HUMAN BEINGS - male and female - are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose. ~ The Family. A Proclamation to the World. The First Presidency and Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Are we even listening to the lyrics of the music we causally listen to, or the dialogue in TV shows or movies? What about acts of violence, sex, murder, rape, drug use etc, have we become so desensitized for justification?

**Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! ~ Isaiah 5:20

Why do we hold in such high regard celebrities, musicians, writers, performers, actors, sports players and seek after wealth, fame and power?

**We must leave off the worship of modern-day idols and a reliance on the “arm of flesh,” for the Lord has said to all the world in our day, “I will not spare any that remain in Babylon.” ~ D&C 64:24

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. ~
Timothy 3:1-7

The 13th Article of Faith ~
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

My Mom & Dad - The Missionaires

Bro and Sis Tanner have served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the last three years. They have served in the Temple Department in the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. They have had some amazing experiences. They have worked on pilot projects and they have audited all the small temples for errors.

They have had weekly devotionals, luncheons with the Seventy and meetings with all the Temple Presidents from all over the world with The First Presidency. The commute has not been easy on them, with a few close calls, but the Lord has always protected them. I am so proud of them; they're true examples of love and service. I know their lives have been blessed for serving in turn my life has been blessed also. I Love You so much. “Well done, thou good and faithful servants”

Cute story: My parents were standing near the Church Office Building and were posing separately to take some pictures of each other, when they heard a man say, "Here, you stand together and let me take a picture of you both". They turned and saw a friendly, white-haired gentleman in his unusually casual attire, and didn't take but a second to realize it was Elder L. Tom Perry.

A Walking, Breathing Miracle - My Nephew Chase

Devin, Donny and Derek - Sep 29th, 2007- Provo, UT
Last year on Sep 29th, 2007, Derek and Devin were baptized and confirmed members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The morning was wonderful surrounded by family and friends. When it came time for the confirmation many took part including my 18 year old nephew Chase. What a great experience and great example for my boys. What a sight, all those men who loved and cared about the boys so much, dressed in white shirts exercising the power of the priesthood.
We then enjoyed a get together with everyone with great food and laughs.
Donny’s Mom and Dad spent the night with us so they could attend church with us the next morning. About 1:00 am Donny’s Dad came up the stairs opened the door and said Chase has been in an accident. Chase and his roommate had headed back down to Dixie so they could attend church the next morning. They had rolled the car just south of Nephi. We rushed to the hospital and waited for his arrival. He was alive but in very bad shape. We were able to see him for just a few minutes before he was taken into surgery, he had a crushed skull, but worse then that he had broken his neck. A C3 break. It was a long night, his recovery was not easy but went faster then expected. With many prayers and blessings Chase did recovered.

We had the opportunity to go to the temple with our nephew Chase on Tues, Sep 16th, 2008 the night before he reported to the MTC. He will be serving in the Riverside Mission, which bumps into Ashley's old mission area of Anaheim. Miracles still do happen everyday; we can see the Lord's hand in our life. I am so grateful for the power of the priesthood and the power of healing. Chase you're going to do great things! Now go and Serve.

"25" Years - Donny & Christi

There once was a very young women (only 18) who met and fell in love with a very handsome young man (he was 23) a return missionary, who was and still is a big flirt. Yes, there is a very long version of this story. So to get to the point, this handsome young man took the very young (but mature) women, (hee hee) by the hand to the temple to be married for time and all eternity. The day was beautiful, the occasion joyous, the moment complete. They were one, forever and ever.

Through the trials of life they had each other to lean on. There were many hardships as well as triumphs. They had their ups and downs, new places to see, and times to learn. Sometimes all they had was each other and at other times maybe said things they wish they hadn’t. This young man was counseled to tell her “you love her” everyday and he did, even if she didn’t deserve to hear such kind words some days.

They grew together, taught each other, loved each other. Even laughed and cried with and at each other. Through the years as time passed by until we come to today. Could it be, really? 25 years ago, you took me by the hand to the temple to be sealed for time and all eternity. Here we are, a little worn from the wear. I love you with all my heart.

Happy Anniversary Donny!

We have a lot more ahead of us, so hold on tight.

Our Weekend In Arizona

We did so much in such a short time. On Fri morning we went the the Mesa Temple, it was wonderful to be there together. After we enjoy a lunch at Mimi's Cafe. Then Donny, Steve and Michael enjoyed a swim in the pool with the kids, and some of us rested and got ready for the night at Joesph.

Sat morning we went to cheer Paige's volleyball team on - Go Wildcats! More swimming, shopping and getting ready for Sun, than back to see Joesph again.

Sunday bought us together with Steve's Family at church to bless Gavin. Than we had a get together with a great spread of food and desserts. Our time was short, but so fun.
