Compassion...

Just a few days ago someone asked me how I was doing, I answered my standard answer "That I was hanging in”. She quickly came back “you always say that” I expressed I had a lot I was dealing with, her reply “you are no different than the rest of us”.

And yet we are not like anyone else. Yes, we all have our trials and struggles, that is what this life is all about. But I also fight everyday against my own body and mind. The pain and fatigue some days makes it almost impossible to do any thing. It hurt, such a comment without some compassion or any understanding.

I hope and pray that we can find the charity we need to love each other, pray for each other and help each other.

8 And it came to pass that he said unto them: Behold, here are the waters of Mormon (for thus were they called) and now, as ye are desirous to come into the fold of God, and to be called his people, and are willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light;
9 Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life -
10 Now I say unto you, if this be the desire of your hearts, what have you against being baptized in the name of the Lord, as a witness before him that ye have entered into a covenant with him, that ye will serve him and keep his commandments, that he may pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you?

21 And he commanded them that there should be no contention one with another, but that they should look forward with one eye, having one faith and one baptism, having their hearts knit together in unity and in love one towards another

Truly inspiring, Christi. My heart and thoughts are with you often. I wish there was more that I could do, but never forget that I pray for you daily, and that I love you always. I do believe that somethings might be relieved if we could ever go on that treatment we keep talking about. I will check it to it even more. Love, Mom

Hi, this is Terra. Terry & Debbie Freeman's oldest daughter. It was nice to run across your family's page and see that you are all doing well, minus the broken noses! I can sympathize-2 sinus surgeries myself, it's the pits! Stay well, and tell the girls hello (don't think the boys know who I am).
